Him in the Middle

A black silhouette appears in the middle of the plants.

I caught his outline at a quick glance.

There are other around but I focus on him.

The scenery here seems really quite grim.

Flower Bed Head

I see an old man.

See him with me if you can.

He has bulging eyes and a big bald head.

I found him behind the old bike shed.

Everyone thought that the roses were dead.

But, they didn't look close at the flower bed.

Big Red Pipe

He wears a small cap and smokes a red pipe.

He fits right in with the others his type.

His face is endearing, he holds very still.

His stories are good, I named him Bill.

A photograph of her makes it easy to see.

The Guiding Light

Oh thank you beautiful figure for revealing yourself to me.
Thank you for staying in the light so beautifully so I could see.

I hope to take your photographs until I am old and gray.
 I will look at them happily every single day.

I know they will guide me when I can no longer remember.

They will guide me through June, July and December.

Battle of the Bloom

Here I see a battle in the middle of the bloom.

One of them eventually will have to face their doom.

I do not bother them in any way, the plants have a plan.

But, now I know that not all battles are only fought by man.

Southern Belle Waiting

The southern belle is waiting in the hot summer sun.

The pretty girl in pink is waiting to have some fun.

She tries to hide behind her fan.

See her with me if you can.

What the flowers leave behind is up for debate.

I take their photographs because I think they're great.
